Now back to food

World famous in Sivas is Miskebab which sells just one item, succulent beef roasted in the traditional manner on an upright spit. The marinated meat is prepared fresh each day and is incredibly tender. You can have in wrapped in flat bread, in a bread bun or with rice and salad. That is it and the place is just constantly packed.

Usually this style of meat is either chicken or lamb, but like the Sivas meatballs, here the meat is beef.

Nor is this a chain, just one outlet in the centre of town.
